A leading artificial grass provider in Bath has helped to transform a caravan ahead of its appearance on a Channel 4 series called ‘George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces’ this month (October).
Richard and Ali Parker from Longney Gloucestershire were looking for a way to restore a dilapidated caravan, named The Warwick Knight, to its former glory for the TV series and they called on LazyLawn to help provide a solution.
Inspired by a 1950s photograph of The Warwick Knight in its prime, Richard and Ali worked with LazyLawn to recreate the original roof garden on the caravan.
18 square metres of Wonder Yarn 26mm were used in the up-cycling project which saw artificial grass being installed on top of the caravan.
Ali said: “We stumbled upon this wonderful wreckage (nicknamed ‘cattle shed on wheels’) and we had a vision. For us it was all about the roof garden.
