The Artificial turf installation process involves several key steps:
- Base Preparation: It all starts with base preparation. We begin by clearing all vegetation and debris from the site. Then, we excavate the ground to the required depth and lay down a barrier to prevent weed growth.
- Sub-base Installation: Next, we add a layer of crushed stone or gravel on top of the sand and compact it thoroughly. This step ensures a solid drainage sub-base for the turf.
- Drainage: Once we’re done with the sub-base, we install proper drainage by laying perforated pipes or drainage tiles where needed. This prevents water stagnation and helps extend the turf’s lifespan.
- Laying the Turf: After drainage installation, we carefully roll out the premium synthetic turf and cut it to fit the area perfectly. Adhesive or turf tape is also used to secure the seams, ensuring a smooth surface.
- Applying Infill: Finally, we evenly distribute infill to keep the blades upright and provide cushioning, ensuring your turf looks and feels fantastic.
