Once the turf is properly positioned, it’s time to secure it in place. Begin by securing the edges with landscape staples, making sure they are evenly spaced and inserted at a 45-degree angle. Make sure that the turf is stretched tight and flat, with no wrinkles or bumps. Then, using a lawn roller, firmly press the turf down to help it settle and adhere to the base layer. This will also help the blades of the grass stand up straight.
