VivaTurf has developed a strong international presence in artificial turf and has positioned its non-infill systems around sports performance, manufacturing technology and reduced reliance on loose infill materials.
VivaTurf’s official product portfolio includes non-infill artificial turf for football, hockey, tennis, rugby and other sports applications.
The company has also been involved in international football-turf quality programmes. VivaTurf states that it became a FIFA Licensee following product testing and factory auditing, while its official materials also describe participation in FIFA’s Football Innovation Programme.
VivaTurf has also obtained FIH Certified Turf Manufacturer status for hockey turf, according to the company’s published certification information.
These credentials are relevant because FIFA’s current framework evaluates artificial football surfaces through laboratory and field testing rather than relying solely on individual product specifications.
From an environmental perspective, non-infill technology can reduce dependence on loose granular infill and can simplify certain aspects of end-of-life handling and surface maintenance. VivaTurf has further developed recyclable non-infill technologies and promotes sustainability as part of its product-development strategy.
At the same time, environmental performance should be evaluated using product-specific evidence, including material composition, recyclability documentation, manufacturing practices and applicable environmental certifications, rather than relying on a general “eco-friendly” label.
